Sita Willemse was born and raised in Amsterdam (1973). For over 20 years, she has joyfully taught group lessons in Amsterdam. In 2006, she discovered the power of Pilates—and has been passionate about it ever since.
Every lesson she teaches is unique. She varies the exercises and adapts them to the needs and possible injuries of her participants, so everyone can join at their own level. Her style? Challenging, energetic, and always with a touch of fun.
Catherine Dawes
Catherine is a professional, highly experienced, and widely traveled STOTT® PILATES certified instructor. After many years living and working in Dubai as a certified STOTT® PILATES instructor, Catherine has now returned to Amsterdam at Full Circle Studio.
The STOTT® PILATES method
STOTT® PILATES is a mind-and-body movement method based on the work of Joseph H. Pilates (1883 – 1967).
STOTT® PILATES is designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and balance the muscles around the joints. The focus is on stabilizing the pelvis and shoulder blades and coordinating all parts of the body as a whole.
STOTT® PILATES lessons are suitable for all levels and ages. The method focuses on optimal movement performance, building strength, flexibility, and endurance, without risk of injury or increasing bulk.
Pilates exercises emphasize a flat back (imprinting). STOTT® PILATES works with a neutral spine—the natural curve of your back.
